COMMISSIONS
In addition to creating works for sale to the general public, I also enjoy collaborating with a client to produce a piece of art expressly for them. Small or large, all projects are welcome! Whether it's a cross with a favorite scripture on it, a portrait of a loved one or admired celebrity, or something as large as an architectural installation in the kitchen, bathroom, or fireplace surround, I enjoy working with clients to produce a work of art they will love for years to come.
CLASSES
I also teach classes throughout the state of Arkansas in conjunction with Mosaic Madness of Hot Springs, AR. We call these classes "Mobile Madness," and they can be ongoing (weekly or monthly), or a one-time project. Classes are tailored to the participants, and range in difficulty accordingly.
"Mosaic 101" is generally a two-hour class in which all materials are provided, along with tools and instruction for participants to create a beautiful piece of art. At the end of the class, I take the projects, grout them, and return them to the site for pick up. This works well in places like senior centers, home owner's associations, clubs, etc.
"Mosaic 102" is essentially the same as 101, except participants grout their own projects. This requires more preparation, since grouting is usually a messy activity (which is why I usually grout projects for first-timers).
"Mosaic 201" is a class in which a more difficult project is offered for students. Often, they bring items to incorporate into their project. More than two hours is usually needed for completion.
"Mosaic 301" large projects, such as bird-baths or recycled windows are for those who are looking for a longer class and artistic challenge.
"Girl's Day Out" is a two-day event for a group of ladies looking for something unique. The first day is an all-day event (usually from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) with lunch and a couple of surprises provided. The second day consists of grouting the created projects. Great for bridal parties, lunch clubs, sorority groups... whatever!
I don't have a set pricelist because each event is unique and requires different materials, tools, and preparations. If you're interested in discussing the possibility of a class, please feel free to give me a call or email me!
